النقل البحري

   تأسست الشركة الوطنية السعودية للنقل البحري (البحري) بموجب مرسوم ملكي في العام 1978م كشركة سعودية مساهمة تمتلك حكومة المملكة العربية السعودية ممثلة بصندوق الاستثمارات العامة ما نسبته ( 28% ) من رأسمالها والباقي يمتلكه مواطنون سعوديون.

بدأت الشركة نشاطها بتشغيل سفن( الدحرجة ) المتعددة الأغراض، ثم توسعت وأصبحت من كبرى الشركات العالمية، وهي تحتل اليوم مكانة متقدمة بين مثيلاتها على الصعيد الوطني والإقليمي والعالمي في كافة قطاعات أعمالها ، كما تعتبر الناقل الوطني الأول. وقد احتفلت الشركة بيوبيلها الفضي في العام 2004م ، ومازالت تتابع مسيرة نجاحاتها التى بدأتها منذ تأسيسها قبل (30) سنة ، ولدى الشركة قاعدة تضم نخبة من كبار العملاء.

وتبعا لتنوع أنشطتها فقد امتدت خدماتها لتشمل نقل البضائع العامة ، ونقل الكيماويات، ونقل النفط الخام والغاز المسال، حيث بدأت بتسيير أولى خطوطها بنقل البضائع العامة والحاويات ، وتقدم هذه الخدمات بكفاءة وجودة عالية لجميع العملاء وفي كافة الموانئ التي تخدمها مما جعلها تكتسب سمعة جيدة.

تمتلك الشركة حالياً ( 23 ) ناقلة نفط عملاقة، صممت جميعها طبقاً لأعلى المقاييس العالمية، ومن خلال سعيها للتوسع والنمو دخلت الشركة في مجال نقل الغاز المسال وذلك بشرائها حصة تبلغ ( 30.3 % ) من شركة بتروديك . وهي شركة رائدة عالميا في تجارة ونقل الغاز المسال.

وتمتلك الشركة الوطنية لنقل الكيماويات وهي (إحدى الشركات المملوكة للبحري بنسبة 80%) أسطولا يتكون من ( 24 ) ناقلة كيماويات، وقد تأسست هذه الشركة بالمشاركة مع شركة سابك ، وأصبحت من أكبر الشركات العالمية في مجال نقل الكيماويات .

كما تمتلك الشركة خمسة سفن دحرجة متعددة الأغراض ، تقوم بتوظيفها في خط الخليج العربي / شبة القارة الهندية ، البحر الأحمر ، والبحر الأبيض المتوسط، / والساحل الشرقي للولايات المتحدة - كندا / بمعدل تكرار منتظم . وتختص بنقل البضائع العامة ، وبضائع المشاريع وأنواع مختلفة من بضائع الدحرجة ، كما أن هذه السفن مزودة برافعات ثقيلة ، ويبلغ الوزن الساكن للسفينة ما يقارب (26.000) طن ساكن ، إضافة الى توقع دخول سفينة جديدة للخدمة وإنضمامها للأسطول الحالي. كما تمتلك الشركة ساحة للحاويات في ميناء جدة الإسلامي تستخدم في تخزين الحاويات وتقديم خدمات الصيانة / والإصلاح.

أسست الشركة شركة الشرق الأوسط لإدارة السفن المحدودة بهدف تقديم الخدمات الفنية والإدارية لسفن وناقلات الشركة، والشركات الأخرى ، بشكل احترافي.

قامت الشركة من خلال شركتها التابعة الشركة الوطنية لنقل الكيماويات بتوقيع اتفاقية شراكة مع شركة أودجفل النرويجية يتم بموجبها إنشاء شركة مناصفة في دبي لتشغيل أسطول الشركتين تجاريا من الناقلات المطلية ، وهذا من شأنه أن يعزز موقف الشركة الوطنية لنقل الكيماويات لتصبح لاعباً رئيسياً في صناعة نقل الكيماويات ، كما تم الاتيفاق بشكل ودي بين شركة (إن سي سي ) وشركة أودجفل لفض التجميع الذي يضم (18) ناقلة كيماويات ذات سعة (40.000) طن فما فوق ، ومن ثم تقوم في أول يونيو 2013م بالإستحواذ على حصة أودجفل البالغة (50%) في شركة (إن او سي تي) لتصبح ملكها بالكامل .

كذلك قامت شركة البحري بتوقيع إتفاقية شراكة مع الشركة العربية للخدمات الزراعية (أراسكو) لإنشاء شركة شركة البحري للبضائع السائبة ، وذلك لنقل البضائع السائبة ، وتعتبر شركة (أراسكو) من اكبر الشركات القيادية في مجال استيراد كافة أنواع الحبوب والغلال للمملكة ، وبدأت الشركة في مزاولة نشاطها في عام 2012م ، وتم توقيع عقد لبناء خمس سفن جديدة لنقل البضائع السائبة وقد تم إستلامها جميعاً .

وتعتقد الشركة بأن التوسع ورفع مستوى خدماتها بشكل مستمر في مجال صناعة النقل البحري لا يُحسن فقط من وضع التجارة بشكل عام ، وإنما يساهم في تطوير الإقتصاد الوطني وتنمية إستثمارات المساهمين ، والذي يشكل المحور الأساسي للشركة .

   The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) was formed by a Royal Decree in the year 1978 as a Public Company, 22% ownership held by the Public Investment Fund PIF of the Saudi Government, 20% by Saudi Aramco Development Company and the remaining is widely heldin public shares by Saudi Nationals.

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) has grown from a small shipping firm operating multipurpose vessels to become one of the biggest shipping conglomerates in the world and occupies a pre-eminent position among its industry peers at national, regional and international levels in all sectors of its business operations. It is the first national carrier, having celebrated its Silver Jubilee in the year 2004 and continues to successfully stride the triumphant march in 30 years of its existence and has generated a strong VIP customer base.

During the course of its diversification, the Company's services have been expanded to include transportation of General cargo, Crude Oil, Chemical, Liquefied Petroleum Gas LPG and Dry Bulk. Having started off its operations for transporting general cargo and containers initially, the company with its commendable track record, has established the reputation of providing high standard of services to its customers in all sectors.

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) owns and operates 31 Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), 1 floating storage VLCC, 4 MRs and 1 Aframax which are all of high international standards. In its desire to expand further, Bahri established a new business unit Bahri Gas & Marine Services which is responsible to explore investment opportunities in the offshore industry. This business unit also manages and develops the Companys Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) investment, through its partners Petredec, which is the largest independent LPG trading and shipping Company in the world, which Bahri owns 30.3% of the capital.

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) owns a fleet of 24 chemical carriers through its subsidiary the National Chemical Carriers (NCC) which was established in partnership with SABIC and has become one of the largest companies of the world in this field.

The company also owns 6 fully owned multipurpose vessels, deployed between Arabian Gulf - Indian Subcontinent - Red Sea - Mediterranean - US / Canada East Coast route on a regular frequency. These ships are specialized in carrying general, projects cargo and several types of RoRo cargoes and are equipped with heavy lift cranes; each ship with a dwt of approx. 26,000 tons. Additional 1 new building is expected to join the existing fleet during 2014. The company also invested in on-land facilities by building a container service yard at the Jeddah Islamic Port to facilitate container storage and maintenance / repair services.

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) has established Mideast Ship Management Ltd., with a vision to provide professional ship management services to its fleet and other shipping companies.

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) through its subsidiary (NCC) signed a 50:50 joint venture with Odfjell of Norway to establish an operating company NCC Odfjell Chemical Tankers JLT (NOCT) in Dubai to commercially operate their combined fleet of coated chemical tankers in a pool. Later, NCC agreed with Odfjell SE to dissolve their 18 ships pool in addition to acquiring the shares of Odfjell SE in NOCT. The company is presently owned 100% by NCC and renamed as NCC JLT.

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) also signed an agreement with Arabian Agricultural Services Company (ARASCO) to establish Bahri Dry Bulk (BDB) (a JV) to transport dry bulk cargoes. ARASCO is a leading importer of grain cargoes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. BDB became operational during 2012. A contract is signed to build 5 Dry-Bulk Carriers and BDB received all (5) vessels.
